Cassie A. Solomon – President

Cassie founded The New Group in 2007, to create a firm dedicated to helping leaders design and implement successful change. Her book, Leading Successful Change: 8 Keys to Making Change Work, co-authored with Greg Shea, was revised and published in February 2020 by Wharton Digital Press. She has been published in Harvard Business Review, Fast Company and Wharton’s Knowledge@Wharton.

Cassie’s assignments focus on organizational design, workforce transformation and the introduction of new technology. As a consultant, she helps leaders accelerate specific initiatives to meet the disruptive pace of change.

Cassie is an internationally recognized expert on the RACI project management tool and has improved the performance of cross-functional teams world-wide. Her platform, RACI Solutions, has enabled Cassie to help clients enhance accountability and improve decision making practices on their global teams.

Cassie has been teaching change management and leading successful change to executives at The Wharton School’s Aresty Institute since 1993. Cassie holds an undergraduate degree from Yale University in Organizational Behavior and an MBA from The Wharton School of Business in Operations Management.
